GT Radial as the largest tire manufacturer in Indonesia and integrated in ASEAN had won the Best Quality Performance Non – SMI for 2013/2014 and the Best Overall Performance for 2013/2014 at the Proton’s Annual Vendor Dinner and Awards Ceremony in Malaysia. The awards was presented by the Chairman of Proton Holdings Berhad Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad to the Director of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk Simon Hui.
Proton Vendor Awards is an award that given by Proton to the parties (vendors) who work together in a certain period. GT Radial as the best passenger car tires in Indonesia, since 2013 become the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) tire for Proton Exora. Then this cooperation continues until now as GT Radial become the OEM tires for Proton Preve and Proton Suprima.
“This is the first time for Proton to give the award to their vendors outside Malaysia. Its shows that GT Radial tires are the best quality passenger car tires made in Indonesia which accepted by the people in the world.
