In addition to the products noted above the newly re-designed GT867 urban use commercial vehicle tire will be exhibited. Using a new highly abrasion resistant tread compound, large improvements to wear life have been achieved. This star product is specifically designed for stop-and-go urban driving conditions with frequent speed changes and turns. It features an extra-reinforced sidewall protector to ensure maximum resistance to curbing and impact damage.
Also on display at the exhibition will be the GAR850 regional all position tire. This pattern has been created in response to the fast development of modern medium sized trucks, and increased requirements for comfort, wet and dry handling, and excellent wear resistance. Available initially in 225/80R17.5, 245/70R19.5 and 11R22.5 sizes, the tire can be used in both steer and drive positions on 4x2 and 6x4 configurations.
