The second round of Indonesia Sentul Series of Motorsport (ISOM) will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 24-25th May 2014. PT. Gajah Tunggal, Tbk as the manufacturer of GT Radial tire is back to support this prestigious racing events that will be held in Sentul International Circuit, Bogor, West Java. In this second series, GT Radial will send its eight best racers: Fitra Eri, Rally Marlina, Alinka Hardianti, Mico Mahaputra, Fino Saksono, Sunny TS, Alvin Rota, and Ahmad Sadewa.
In the first series of ISSOM 2014, Fitra Eri was able to proved his driving edge by became the 1st winner of Audi Race Indonesia Series (ARIS) – Master Class while Rally Marina followed in the 3rd place. Fitra Eri also won the 1st position in the Indonesia Super Touring Championship, followed by Alvin Bahar and Fino Saksono of GT Radial Auto Service Racing Team in the 2nd and the 3rd place. Furthermore, Mico Mahaputra also won the 2nd place of ARIS – Promotion Class and Ahmad Sadewa finished 3rd in Euro 3000 National Series.
Looking on the achievements made by the GT Radial racers, Leonard Gozali as the Brand Manager Auto Mobile is optimist for the 2nd series of ISSOM 2014. “Fitra, Rally, Mico, and other racers from GT Radial team have been showing their best performance so far several racing events such as ISSOM. By using the GT Radial Champiro HPY and Champiro SX2 tires, we are confident that there will be new achievements made by the GT Radial racing team.” said Leonard Gozali. In the 2nd series of ISSOM, GT Radial will prepare its 2 best racing tires, GT Radial Champiro HPY and GT Radial Champiro SX2. Champiro HPY is the official tire for ARIS, while Champiro SX2 will be use for Indonesia Super Production, European Touring Car Championship, and Honda Jazz Speed Challenge.
For the second series of ISSOM 2014, The ETCC Novice and OMR Ferrari Race 1 will be held on Saturday while other classes, such as: ETCC 2000, ETCC 3000, OMR Honda Jazz, OMR Honda Brio, Retro 1600, Retro 2000 Max, OMR VW, Indonesia Classic Race, Mercedes Benz Club Race, Kejurnas Sentul Super Production, Indonesian Super Touring, OMR Audi, and OMR Ferrari race 2 will be held on Sunday (25/5).
