The second round of Indonesia Xtreme Adventure 4x4 Team 2014 was held in Canti Dharma Offroad Park Circuit, Indonesia Peace and Security Centre region (IPSC) – Sentul, Bogor. IPSC is the new peacekeeping mission centre that was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia – Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on 7th April 2014.
GT Radial as the National pride offroad tire manufacturer supported the championship by sponsoring the GT Radial 4x4 Adventure Offroad team. Consist of Mariachi Gunawan, Fatya Nurahman, and Inung NF, the GT Radial 4x4 Adventure Offroad team used the 35x10.5 R16 GT Radial Savero Komodo Extreme in the event.
The GT Radial Savero Komodo Extreme tire has optimal traction and able to discard mud from the tire maximally. In the championship that was held on 24-25th May 2014, GT Radial Savero Komodo able to conquer the 2km length track perfectly.
Seventy five (75) offroaders from 25 teams have to finish 9 Special Stages (SS) – Super Extreme Track of IPSC Circuit. The huge number of participants in the Indonesia Xtreme Adventure 4x4 Team 2014 happens because of the good teamwork from the event organizer and PP IMI. The good teamwork was shown from the event changing status into the National Championship.
The championship went exciting with the performance of several offroad top teams, such as: Radial 4x4 Adventure Offroad, Hardys Land Sencaky Offroad, Jhonlin Racing Team, etc. All participants had to pass varied track, from rocky track, steep road climb, and also cross the small river that flow in the middle of the track. Some unlucky participants had to suffer some damage in their machine or tumbledown. But these things did not dampen the contestants’ guts; instead it added the excitement of the Indoensia Xtreme Adventure 4x4 Team.
