Jakarta – GT Radial as the best Indonesia tire also support the prestigious Golf Tournament – Mercedes Trophy 2014. This year is the second year for GT Radial to participate in this world class Golf tournament.
Mercedes Trophy is a tradition that had been done by the German automotive brand, Mercedes-Benz since 1990 in Europe. Along the time, the Golf sport becomes associated with the brand image of Mercedes – Benz. In Indonesia alone, Mercedes Trophy has been started since 1992.
The tournament will be held in 3 stages:
a. Qualification:
Jakarta 1 : 24 April 2014, Emeralda Golf Club (27 holes)
Jakarta 2: 08 Mei 2014, Royale Jakarta Golf Club (27 holes)
b. Final:
Indonesian Final: 19 Juni 2014, Pantai Indah Kapuk Golf Club (18holes) Jakarta
c. Asian Final:
Australia: 12 – 15 Agustus 2014, Sanctuary Cove Resort, Gold Coast
d. World Final:
Jerman: 25 – 30 September 2014, Stuttgart
GT Radial as the National pride tire supports the sport event to improve the cooperation between Mercedes-Benz Indonesia and GT Radial. It has been estimated that more than 400 participants who also the owner of Mercedes-Benz will compete in the qualification stage of Mercedes Trophy 2014 in Jakarta.

GT Radial has been cooperated with Mercedes-Benz Indonesia since 2010 in the motorsport event, such as Mercedes Benz Driving Experience 2010-2011, G-Class Experience 2011 in Lido, Mercedes Benz C-Class Touring Championship 2011-2012, Mercedes Benz C Coupe Touring Cup 2012-2013, and also other Mercedes Benz Club Indonesia activities.
